So Joe Paterno’s Gone…

I’m sure he was a nice man, did a lot a lot of good for a lot of people, made many a person better for knowing him.

What about those kids who were sexually abused by one of his assistant coaches?

So what he told his boss?  That dude got to walk around free for another 10 years, doing God knows what to whom.  He should have called the cops, fuck his boss. What the fuck am I saying, JoePa didn’t have no “boss”.  He was the motherfucking man at Penn State.

Joe Paterno was God in Happy Valley, PA.

He could have done anything he wanted, including getting the Monster Sandusky locked up forever.  He had people he “answered” to but everybody knows that, unless it was something dire and by dire I mean something that was about to affect the cash flow coming into Penn State, JoePa was the one who called the shots at Penn State.

That’s what eventually ended JoePa’s career, money.  Not that scandal, MONEY.

His ability to bring that loot in was in serious jeopardy because the demons of the past caught up with him and the only thing that could over-ride JoePa’s grip on Penn State, finally did.  Not those poor abused kids because the actions of Penn State showed that they didn’t give a Country Time Lemonade sipping fuck about those kids. But that money?  Oh, you gotta go, Joe, you gotta go.

But had JoePa went to the cops way back when he first found out about the Monster Sandusky in the shower, ass fucking a kid, there would have been nary a soul at Penn State that would have belittled him.

The same motherfuckers who were rioting in the streets when got fired, who are holding candlelight vigils at his house, today and blaming everybody in the world for killing their beloved JoePa, would have been the very ones anointing him for the Pope’s job had he came out years ago, getting the Monster Sandusky arrested.  But what did JoePa do?

He chose his friend, his legacy, his school’s reputation over some poor kids.

Whatever, JoePa.  You can rest in peace, now.  Those kids?  They get to live with the fact that you did just enough to get over but not nearly as much as you could have done.
